Job Summary: To act as a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant performing appropriate patient care, trainee education, and administrative activities consistent with EHMCs priorities and consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Section of Hospital Medicine. In the State of New Jersey, an APN may act as an independent practitioner, while a physician assistant requires supervision by a licensed physician.
Department: Hospitalist Location: Englewood Status: Full Time Shift: Afternoon/Evenings Hours: 7 days on / 7 days off
Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies
- Excellent clinical, teaching and communication skills a must
- Physician Assistants: 2 years minimum clinical experience
- Interest (and preferably prior experience) in quality and process improvement.
License/Certification/Registry:
- Minimum NJ Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse License
- CDS & DEA Registration
- Board Certified or eligible
